The i-LEAP K2 Programme is designed to provide and effective transition for children as they are preparing to enter the primary school education system in the following year. The transition mainly involves bridging the very much activity-based and informal learning to a more formal learning environment.
The lessons in the i-LEAP Programme aim to equip children with essential pre-primary knowledge and concepts that will enable them to cope and continue to excel in their primary school education. This includes:
- pre-primary literacy
- pre-primary-mathematics
- science process skills
- technology literate
Nevertheless, the i-LEAP K2 Programme is still developed based on the play-base using the 5E Model of Instructions methodology. Apart from the lessons and activities in the coursebooks and activity books, the i-LEAP K2 Programme also provides effective teaching resources to help teachers make their lessons more engaging and effective.
